About
Behavior management and ABA services are provided to children with typical development and children with developmental delays (e.g., autism spectrum disorder) from birth through adolescence. Treatment services also are provided to adults with developmental delays.

Treatment involves teaching skills with reinforcement based strategies and environmental modifications. Services includes direct therapy with children in the office, parent consultation in the office or via videoconferencing, classroom observations, consultation with school staff, and shadowing children at school.

Dr. Powers
Dr. Powers is a licensed psychologist in TN and board certified behavior analyst (BCBA-D). She currently is in private practice and provides behavioral treatment to children in Memphis, TN and nearby areas.
Dr. Powers obtained her B.A. from Millsaps College, obtained her Ph.D. from Mississippi State University, and completed her pre- and post-doctoral training at the Marcus Institute in Atlanta, GA. She has worked as an adjunct instructor at multiple universities.

Dr. Powers interests include trying local restaurants, reading, meditation, yoga, aikido, walking with her dog,
and snow skiing.

At this time, Dr. Powers is in network
with Aetna, Cigna, and Humana.
​
Commercial policies with out-of-network outpatient behavioral health benefits cover a percentage of charges once the out-of-network deductible is met..
She is not credentialed with
TennCare, BlueCare, Medicare, or Medicaid.
Self pay is accepted.
